PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

PHYSIQUE: Rei stands around 5'4" tall with a slender build, with the exception of some obvious feminine curves and weighs somewhere around 140lbs.
HAIR / EYES: Her hair is long and naturally straight, falling past her bottom in length. It is often tied back with a ribbon into a low hanging pony tail. Rei's eyes are a curious shade of red, due to albinism.
ABNORMALITIES: Rei is often seen wearing a pair of glasses or sunglasses,  because she is both rather nearsighted and rather sensitive to light.

PERSONALITY & LIFESTYLE

PERSONALITY:  Rei has always been more traditional than most and gives the persona of someone who can be very laid-back and collected, even in the worst situations. This ability maintain her composure was never more evident than in her educational studies. She has always been highly intelligent, especially when it comes to the matter of school, where she has always been something of a prodigy. Unfortunately, it would be a mistake to write her off as nothing more than a bookworm, as there is far more beneath the mask of refinery and culture that Rei tends to wear in front of others.

Few are aware that she does possess something of a stubborn streak and can be very strong-willed when push comes to shove. While she can be loyal to those she fancies, these tend to be somewhat rare. Instead, Rei has actually become rather apathetic and down-right cynical towards people and human society as a whole. Because of this, she can appear to be rather distant and reserved from others, preferring the company of animals or books to people. When she is forced to interact, Rei is known to have something of morbid sense of humor, which can be somewhat unnerving at times.

While it can often be difficult to discern the motives of this cunning  and mysterious fox, it is never safe to find yourself on her bad side. Although, Rei can appear very controlled and will often appear to laugh things, she is naturally a very vindictive and spiteful creature. Once someone has crossed her or something in which she has invested her interest, Rei never forgets the slight and will go to great lengths to see someone suffer for their actions. It rarely matters if the revenge takes months or even years, she never forgets and a strong believer in karma, always repays her debts.

LIFESTYLE:   Rei comes from a very affluent family from Kyoto and currently lives alone in a rather upscale apartment in Tokyo while attending college. Her father is a rather prominent businessman and her mother works as a Russian model. However, she rarely sees them as they are often out of the country on other business. Instead, Rei lives off an allowance from her parents to cover rent, tuition, meals, and anything else she might need. She lives what many would consider a rather luxurious and cushy existence, though some might venture to say spoiled. Nevertheless, despite her comfortable existence, her focus remains on her studies.

TOOLS & ITEMS

ITEM NAME:  Cell Phone
ITEM DESCRIPTION:  A simple white flip-phone that she carries around with her almost everywhere. It is most recognizable by the charm that hangs from it, which resembles a white fox mask.

ITEM NAME:  Backpack
ITEM DESCRIPTION: A regular black backpack with purple and gray markings that is often slung over one shoulder. Inside is where she carries her books and other items that are necessary for school.

ITEM NAME:  Glasses
ITEM DESCRIPTION:  These consist of a pair of thin framed black glass that she wears, due to being terribly near-sighted without them. However, because they tend to make her look so bookish, Rei will often avoid wearing them unless absolutely necessary.

ITEM NAME:  Sunglasses
ITEM DESCRIPTION:  This pair of dark black sunglasses is more commonly seen being worn during daylight hours, due to her sensitivity to light. They also have corrective lenses, though are far less revealing, so carries both, just in case.

SPECIALTIES

THE FOX'S CURSE: For all her faults, Rei has always had a soft spot for animals. One day after school, she stumbled onto a small injured fox. After feeding the animal and attempting to treat his injuries, she recieved a small bite from the defensive creature. It was nothing serious and the fox soon scurried away back to the forest, so Rei thought little of the matter. However, the following morning, she began to experience strange symptoms, such a deep craving for fried tofu and what manifested as an unnatural fear of canines, no matter their size. She also soon discovered that she had been cursed by a Kitsune and had become an Oddity.


The Fox Fire ability allows the user to create and manipulate blue flames at will. These often appear as floating spheres or orbs of fire, which can range in size and intensity depending on the purpose for which it is used.

Capabilities:

• LEVEL 0:  {PASSIVE} -  This causes orbs of blue flame to appear on the hand, fingers, or to flow freely around the user to serve as light in the darkness or for purely aesthetic purposes.
