PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

PHYSIQUE: A tad bit shorter than most boys his age, Naoto stands at 5'3 (160 cm) and weighs 115 lbs (52 kg). He is rather lean and athletic possessing more speed than strength.
HAIR / EYES: He has messy brown hair that reaches to his mid-neck and soft light green eyes.
ABNORMALITIES: He has many scars and bruises on his chest and back from past childhood experiences. 

PERSONALITY & LIFESTYLE

Most that meet him seem to believe that Naoto is more of a sheep than anything else. His friends, his teachers, almost everyone that came in contact with the smaller boy believed that he needed protecting. Naoto is a selective-mute who chooses to keep to himself to avoid conflict and talking to others. Not out of shyness but mere annoyance as most people have 'nothing interesting to say'. He is far more observant than talkative and those who choose to strike up a conversation with him usually have to try and bring up something that may peak his interests. At a young age, he learned that it was better to be seen and not heard. His parents often noted that unlike other children who were rather hyperactive, he was calm and quiet. 

Despite his quiet stature, Naoto can be quite harsh with his words and straight-forward. He doesn't mean to hurt others with the way that he speaks, but it seems to come out without a doubt. Naoto is a perfectionist and becomes irked if the tiniest detail sticks out. It causes him to be at ends with other people his age because of their sloppy behavior. At times, he can be seen with his finger twitching or his eyes narrowed concentrated on a poor soul whose happened to offend him by having their school uniform rumpled or the words in their notebook too far under the line. A stubborn soul, Naoto would never admit that he actually wanted a friend for once in his life.

He doesn't feel that he requires help from other people. That it would create too much of a hassle. At a young age, he was found to be quite aggressive being picked on by the bigger children for being small. Since then he developed a weak-complex and an immediate distrust for most people believing them all to be the same. It is hard to gain Naoto's trust, and quite easy to lose it since he holds people at arms length. The boy is quite intelligent and thinks quick on his feet being a clever soul. Although once caught off guard in some situations, he retaliates quickly trying to close up once again and hide himself from 'feeling'. 

Despite his harsh words, and unapproachable demeanor Naoto can be a empathetic person. Able to put himself on the same level as the other people and apply his own feelings to their experiences. He isn't the friendliest of people and surely not the kindest, but he tries his best to make it through everyday.

As far as he's concerned, every day has been the same since he was born. The fourth child in the Fujioka family, he was basically the runt of the litter. He wasn't as athletic as them or sociable therefore when events came about that represented the family, he usually didn't attend. His father believed that he wouldn't amount to much so to be accepted into Hoshizora came as an immediate surprise. Naoto had always been a selective mute, choosing to be quiet most of his life with his family only expressing his needs through written text on a notepad that his mother purchased for him when she grew tired of him merely pointing at things.

Growing into his silent demeanor, Naoto was considered an outsider by most of the other kids. They believed rumor after rumor about him; that he beat up the entire football team, monopolized the principal into giving him whatever he wanted and was utterly unstoppable. When in all honesty, Naoto was just a normal kid who knew how to follow directions therefore he was able to gain favor with his teachers and superiors. Because of his silence and short stature, he was considered someone that needed to be 'protected'.

His father enrolled him into kendo, and he often carried around a wooden bokken for practice reasons. Growing bored with the day to day business, friendships weren't needed and as long as he stuck to the same thing it would continue on and on. He got into drawing, and found a beauty in his own silence. Choosing to leave more of the darkened secrets and thoughts in his past, his relationship with his family strained to the point where it was more of a non-existent line connecting him to them. 

Despite this, he is merely hoping and wishing that there will be something to end these boring days.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: A small pad that is pocket-sized with a pencil that has no eraser. It often sits in his pocket for whenever he needs to communicate with someone.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: A normal-scaled sketchbook with a pencil and white eraser that is filled with drawings that he's done over the years.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: A simple touch-screen phone that has a blue star charm hanging from it. It holds all of his contacts and information though it has a lock on it and a pass code.
