Aleksander wasn't the person who grew up in a normal family, both his parents were part of the mafia in his home country so he learned everything that needs to be learnt about how to b a mob. He was taught how to get information from others, how to torture people and many other things that someone who is part of the mafia should know.
The reason why he is in Japan right now is because his parents and some other parents from the yakuza wanted to form an alliance between the two organizations. The reason to that was never shared with Aleksander, and he didn't care at all. The two families exchanged sons and now he was living in Japan.
