BASIC INFO.
What Do They do: They usually have abilities or knowledge that weaken specific types of Oddities. A trained Monk will know about a large number of Oddities. They may be Gift Users, or just have experience.
Alignment: Monks may be thought as Good, but they don't have to be. Some are just bored, and there are some that won't do their job unless they're paid the right sum.

Monks Versus Gift Users: Any Gift User can call their self a Monk but not all Monks can call them selves Gift Users.
Strengthening a Monk: Monks become stronger by learning how to combat more Oddities.
Weakening a Monk: Unless they become lazy, they don't normally become weaker.
Pros: Do not lose power through doubt.
Cons: Limited ability set.

Puzzles - The Monk combats Oddities by learning their weaknesses and why they are affecting people.
Gifts - Gifts used to combat Oddities.
Fakes - Monks without abilities that pretend they have them.
