ODDITIES
this isn't right
BASIC INFO.
What Do They do: Oddities send the world into chaos. As they touch the organized world they turn everything around them into Oddities like themselves. As their numbers grow they risk transforming the world into something from fantasy. Fortunately, normal humans are unaware of them.
Alignment: Oddities are assumed to be evil, but they really aren't. They act as they should for the Oddity they are. Thus most are neutral.
Affects on Others: When full Oddities interact with normal people they tend to either: turn those people into Oddities, Curse those people or directly/indirectly give the people Gifts. [/ul]
BEING AN ODDITY.
Oddity Versus Oddity: Characters are not full Oddities (Not including Canons). They are normal humans that have run into at least one Oddity.
Become more Odd: Every time a character acts like their Oddity, they become more like it.
Becoming less Odd: Every time a character denies their Oddity, or does something out of character for the Oddity, they will become less like the Oddity.
Depravity: If an Oddity tries to act like something it's not, there's a chance that something known as the darkness will appear. This shapeless entity will try to consume the Oddity. This is a matter of saying you are something you aren't. If a character is honest, and performs steps to become a different Oddity, they could become one.
Pros: Being an Oddity comes with special abilities.
Cons: Lose touch of reality and sense of self as the character becomes more like the Oddity. Oddities scare normal people. Normal people cannot see Oddities that are at least 75% Oddity, without being affected by an Oddity.
