About::The child of a diplomat, Hwan has had most of his life handed to him on a silver platter up to his older's death at the hands of a nasty political scandal turned murder. Thereafter, he was forced to hide the bulk of his emotions behind the guise of ease in order not only to cope but act accordingly on the world stage his father stands on every day and his family by extension. Showing emotion was considered weak, and thus Hwan never got closure on the incident. However, the Haze has provided an "escape" for the young man allowing him to turn invisible for small increments of time -effectively stepping out of the light for a while and allowing him to do what he can't socially: disappear.
All that said, Hwan is not a completely uncomfortable forced socialite. He has been trained to handle the eyes of others upon him since he started walking and talking. It's an ingrained part of his nature, and he thus seems to be at ease around most people and in most situations. He can come off as very teasing, often uncaring or aloof when one really gets to know him, but because of his natural inclination to fall into whatever role is desired of him, he suppresses a lot of this. One of his more quickly assumed role is that of the rebellious teenager just wanting to have a good time. He dates extensively because of this, and he probably has a number of past romances in the last few months alone. However the bulk of them last but a day or two if you're really after his ears. Just as he can disengage other roles, he can disengage what romance there was as if it were an off switch.Friends:Hwan is easy to get along with for the most part. He's fun loving and always up for a game or to just hang out and drink coffee somewhere to talk. He's the type of person who would walk up to someone and ask to be friends simply because they looked interesting to him or something of that nature. I imagine he already has a number of at least positive acquatiances at the school here and there, but if you want to start from the beginning that's cool too.Enemies:Hwan is a diplomat's kid, and if he doesn't have enemies, his father probably does in one form or another. Also, he just tends to rub some people the wrong way seeming too socially or coming on too strong in a moment. However he is good at moderating and curtailing himself to a situation being rather dynamic in that regard. Thus those that don't like him will face a person who is still trying to get them to like him in some form or another. It can be a bit of a headache to say the least.Loves:As was noted earlier, he dates extensively, so I see a number of quickie relationships that can go every which way at once. I would like him to find someone he can really connect with eventually, just because it would hopefully lead to a lot of emotional growth that he was usurped of in life. However, it's up to you, really, I'm open for just about anything.Others:I would be interested if anyone wanted to play more into the political scandal that killed Hwan's brother. What's known of his past is written out in the link in the signature, so if you want to give the last few paragraphs a quick look or so and see how that goes, then great.
