when the light runs from the day
will the darkness be too much?
will the darkness be too much?
.. Why..
Only a singular word coursed through her mind as she raced towards the hospital, the sounds of her revving engine roaring through the streets of Tokyo, drifting and speeding around each corner until she finally reached her destination. Though it was a bit nostalgic, being back in a place she had performed multiple times, those memories from the past weren't really her focal point on this afternoon. As soon as she received word that her savior had wound up in the hospital, not another word left the former rockstar's mouth before she took off.
It didn't take long, with her technique and wherewithal around the place, but because of how she quite literally dropped everything she had been doing prior to this sudden notice, she didn't exactly look.. presentable. Traces of powdery white residues remained clinging to her nasal region, but thankfully most of it had already been cleaned up by the winds during her journey; her hair was a mess, resembling that of a person who had just woken up from a coma; and her clothes were.. fairly normal. Too normal in fact, to be associated with Leanna.
"S-Secret!" she huffed, barging in through the doors despite the warnings of several nurses, immediately making her way over to the side of the brunette's bed. There was a clear sign of worry on Leanna's face as to what the condition of her now-dear friend was, and.. with the added effects of certain snorted substances, the amount itself wasn't enough to make her feel like she's flying, but it was enough to blur her senses quite a bit. It was a miracle how she made it here in one piece without crashing even once. After all the running, however, her face looked paler than one of those bodies stored in the morgue, but its not like her usual look held any sort of improvements whatsoever.
With a gentle squeeze of the girl's hand, the same gesture of comfort that the both of them were all too familiar with, Leanna cursed herself for not being there, even though she promised all well that she would be, which made it all the more worse. Sure, she hadn't exactly offered a twenty-four hour surveillance, but you can't stop the guilt from building up nonetheless. "P-Please be okay.."
