CAUTION (n.) care taken to avoid danger. "Well, looks like I won't be getting home in ten minutes then." The physical therapist locked the door to his workplace as he stared at the countless cars cluttered in the street. "An hour ride..." From his lungs came a sigh. A sigh that was common amongst the inner city motorists. It was your average day. The sun was out, shining as it always did and the skies were clear with the exception of the occasional cloud that traversed over the ocean of blue in the sky. The sun was beginning to set and everyone was starting to go home. Rush hour. Probably the worst time to ever be a motorist. Although the streets were packed, the flow of traffic seemed to flow at a decent rate. With the occasional idiot stopping in the middle of the road for no reason whatsoever, a trip that was going to take an hour in traffic now seemed to be doable within half the time. Timofei opened up his glove compartment and pulled out his cellular device. Against the plain seafoam green background he had for his phone, there was your time and some sliding mechanism that unlocked it. The man breathed an irritated sigh, staring at a clearly blank screen. No one had messaged him, nor did he even get a single phone call from his parents back home. Flustered by the mediocre lifestyle he was living, he slammed his phone back into the glove department and slammed the door shut. He was just on the outskirts of the city, where the traffic was thinning. From here he would take the backroads to his small, yet cozy apartment complex in Asakusa. | words xxx tags mori notes beepbeep immajeep |
