Alissa has always been your average straight-A teacher's pet. Passive and obedient, yet ambitious and hardworking, she was the type to keep to herself and to work on everything to the fullest. That has made her family, of which have high expectations for her, happy. Even more so because doing just that has allowed her to enter the prestigious Hoshizora school.
But what should have been a chance for her to improve herself further has turned into something else. Soon after arriving in Japan in the summer she had encountered an Oddity. Since then she has been distracted and her focus has been lacking.

The Sprites' Curse
Soon after arriving in Japan, Alissa did something completely unlike her. She went wandering. This was something she had done just in the moment after losing herself on the Hoshizora grounds.
She entered the woods. There was a distance, and she does not remember herself how far it was. But eventually she came to clearing. There she met multiple orb-like lights floating ominously. They came near her. They made sounds. She could hear little voices from them, and the voices spoke to her.
Curiosity, that was what the voices said. Curiosity brought her to them; she came looking for them and found them, but they were not satisfied. She was to be rewarded for finding the lights, but only through a larger game. Alissa was cursed and the lights asked her to try finding them again. She hasn't seen them since.

The Sprite's Curse could be good or bad depending how it is looked at. The basic description of this curse is that it has played with Alissa's mind. Others would describe her as being weirder. Simple things interest her more, and she has been more open to realizing that she is bored. What she and others may not realize is that the Sprites only unlocked what was waiting inside her.
