phuong makes most of her income through illicit activity; this is predominantly through "high-end" sex work and hits. she lives in a country-side house that she had built upon her arrival in Japan years ago; it's by no means modest and has a rather flamboyant interior. her dirty money comes out as expensive clean clothes, housing, and most importantly, guns.
she lives her life ducking the police, and doesn't work a formal job. she drives a silver Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren and sometimes sleeps right in her vehicle. her various supposedly random acts of murder wed with her low profile and analytical behavior has significantly reduced the severity of her social stigma and she usually isn't recognized by anyone but natives of her country.

Prior to being taken in by her questionable grandparents, she was raised by a pair of spiritualistic parents. She's derived her knowledge about combating Oddities from them, even if "shoddy" in comparison to more diligent practitioners, and ultimately can employ the use of talismans defensively. Talismans are essentially rectangular slips of paper branded with special characters, symbols and lettering, which she carries on her person in great numbers.

This encompasses Phuong's ability to use talisman's as mediums to erect translucent blue barriers. These ultimately serve one purpose: they separate side A from side B. Each side of the polygon separates the side directly parallel from it from itself. This is basically the definition of a barricade. Depending on where the talismans are placed (which can be controlled telekinetically), and how many are used, a different shape will be dictated, which means the geometry can vary. While these are palpable and defend against anything, they're increasingly effective at rejecting Oddities. They act as deterrence for Oddities getting in, or out, of the structure.
Capabilities:
- LEVEL 0 - ONE WAY ROAD: Phuong's Lâu Đài barriers cannot under any circumstance be employed offensively; they may not carry detrimental effects whatsoever, and only can be used in a defensive manner.
