hiro lives by himself in a humble house in tokyo. although he is friendly by nature, he tends to keep to himself and his work. he is in possession of two cars; one for work (mazda RX-8) and one for casual purposes (red porsche). more often than not, the former is at a station.
unlike his subordinates who handle lesser responsibilities, he spends most of his time in a office, or attending meetings, or helping with investigative work. some of his favorite things to do isn't planning, heading, or making decisions for cases, but deciding on how to handle certain gangs and other areas of heightened criminal activity. he lives a casual and "boring" social life.
