LIFESTYLE
Although there are certain similarities between two people's lives, there would never be one that's completely identical to another. In the case of one Yu LongJin, her life.. well, if you'd even call it a life with how she's been living, her life was filled with miracles and wonders that a pair of human eyes would normally never get to witness in their entire lifetime.
Born and raised in Guangzhou, China, where tradition is all the rage, Jinny never really had the chance to actually explore the place much. Being confined within the temple walls 24/7, 365, it was a wonder how the girl managed to survive with such a distinctive lack of conversation and interactions with other humans. But of course, that's what you get when others don't see- nor treat you as one, even though she clearly was.
From an early age, she's trained and developed her abilities from both her parents and grandparents, taking on the mystical arts of taichi passed down from generation to generation in her family's line of specialty - exorcising evil spirits. That's right. Since the tender age of 5, she'd already seen and tended to those whom have been affected by demons, sprites, apparitions, anything you can think of. Hardly would there ever be a time where she fails, but it is indeed a possibility, depending on how severe the possession became.
Years later, upon reaching her 18th birthday, a night of celebration became a lifelong of despair when the holy temple she lived in for all these years ended up being breached by the same spirits her family has worked to purge all this time. They were not prepared for the assault, and thus nearly everyone perished. In a last ditch attempt to preserve the arts and continue on with this tradition to make sure nothing like this ever happens again, Jinny's mother used the last of her chi to cast a protective shield over her and her younger sister, although it only did work on one of them. The other, already being in a corrupted state, was too far gone to be saved. Until this day, the older sibling hasn't succeeded in rescuing her younger sister from the clutches of evil.
Since then, she has made it her goal to find and eliminate those spirits and all other evils that are associated with it in honor of her family. She might perhaps, come in contact with her sister once again, and that would truly put her skills to the test. Although limited in experience when it comes to dealing with the outside world, her research brings her to Japan. Would she finally reunite with her sister and rescue her from walking the path of darkness?
